Ultratech Cement Limited organized a seminar by Professor Sudhir K. Jain on "Road to Earthquake Safety" in Panaji, Goa on April 14, 2008.The seminar received tremendous response with about 162 engineers, architects and developers participating in the same. The one-and-a-half-hour lecture by Professor Sudhir K. Jain was followed by a sumptuous dinner. From the side of Ultratech Cement, Dr V Ramachandra, Zonal Head (Tech) and Mr Prakash Pattanshetty, Regional Head (Mktg) were the main organizers. The event was triggerred by the initiative taken by Mr Ravi Palyekar, a Goa based Structural Engineer.
