National Seminar
& Short Course
on Seismic Design of Concrete Gravity Dams
IIT Kanpur is
hosting two top experts on Seismic design of concrete dams, Prof
Anil K Chopra of the University of California, Berkeley and
Mr.
Larry Nussof US Bureau of Reclamation. The following
events are planned.
A “National Seminar on Seismic Safety of
Concrete Gravity Dams” is scheduled to
be held at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi
on 27 Feb 2009. Prof Chopra and Mr. Nuss along with Indian experts will
deliver lectures on state-of-the-art. For

This will be followed by a Short course on
"Seismic Design of Concrete Gravity Dams" at IIT
Kanpur. Professor Chopra and Mr. Nuss will conduct
the course during March 3 – 6, 2009 at IIT Kanpur.
